Born out of Likana Safaris Uganda’s visionary initiative, and developed under the eBooster Programme in partnership with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and Makerere University Business School (MUBS), e-BETP is transforming how local tourism enterprises connect with the world.
Since its inception, e-BETP has been on a mission to bridge the digital divide that has long limited market access for Uganda’s tourism Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) — particularly those in underserved regions around Bwindi Impenetrable and Kibale National Parks.
We believe in empowering local guides, artisans, and hospitality providers with digital tools, e-commerce opportunities, and global visibility — because sustainable tourism starts with inclusive access.
